Information For Referring Attorneys

In accordance with the requirements and provisions of New York Rule of Professional Conduct 1.5 and Pennsylvania Rule of Professional Conduct 1.5, Black, Lyle & Habberfield, LLP, will pay any attorney referring a personal injury client to our offices a referral fee of one-third of our one third contingent fee (approximately 11% of the gross recovery) upon the successful resolution of the case.  Over the years our firm has forged a number of productive referral relationships with general practice attorneys across New York and Pennsylvania and those relationships have stood the test of time due to our continued and prompt payment of referral fees.

In addition, given our long-standing practice in both New York and Pennsylvania and our geographic location on the New York Pennsylvania border we have often accepted referrals of Pennsylvania venued injury cases from New York attorneys and New York venued injury cases from Pennsylvania attorneys.
